Welcome to Our Florida Promise!
Our Florida Promise is organization formed and operating to fund quality nursing home care for Florida's "Greatest Generation." Our Florida Promise is comprised of a group of concerned citizens including skilled nursing care providers, nurses, doctors, administrators, parents and families committed to providing quality care to Florida's seniors.
One of the biggest challenges facing our seniors is the assertion from American Eldercare to transfer nursing home residents and funding to the Nursing Home Diversion Program. American Eldercare is proposing moving 30,000 intermediate care nursing home residents and funding into home and community-based programs. This policy will put our seniors safety at risk and could elminate patient choice.
